What can I expect from Cued Ballroom Round Dancing?

If you believe you have two left feet, look again! We welcome you to Starlighters Cued Ballroom Dancing. Cued ballroom, also known as "Round Dancing", allows you to enjoy traditional ballroom dancing without memorizing the steps! When the music starts, your instructor tells you which step comes next. It's a quick and easy shortcut that will get you dancing from the very first lesson.

Dancers of all levels will find their place in our social dancing programs. We split our classes into beginner, intermediate, and advanced groups. If you're not sure where you belong, come to the first two sessions of our beginner group and we'll help to place you.

You need not have a partner to participate! It's our experience that students learn faster when they dance with more than one partner. That is why we ask our students to switch partners during our classes. Everyone gets to dance with everyone else. However, you're not required to switch partners if you don't want to.

We offer programs specially designed to help nervous brides and grooms perform flawlessly at their first dance. You may choose to learn as a couple, or bring along your bridal party to learn as a group.

Our programs for teens teach grace, poise and manners. Teens will be able to use their social dancing skills in many events throughout their lives.
